I've never thought I was a particulrly vain person, but then...
Today I had to check some things in our operating theatres. Following procedure I spoke to the charge nurse who said there was 3 of a group of 6 I could get into then and there, all I had to do was get changed into greens.
No bother I replied, I'll just head back to my department and get changed.
She asked why and said she'd noticed I always do that. Then I realised that for some reason we (x-ray) have blues in our department rather than greens, and do you know what? I just look so much better in blue.
My christmas present to me - middle vanity to go with middle aged spread.

Vanity eh, ok then will share mine, my eyesight has got worse over the years. Started off wearing glasses for driving, then i got a prescription pair for biking, some nice oakleys. My normal glasses ive had to start wearing at home to play xbox or watch tele, especially in the evening as my eyes are tired.
I point blank refuse to wear them for work, i can get by without so i get by, everyone at work knows i don't wear glasses so i try not to, i even thought by moving location i could go in day 1 and just wear them but nope! i tried contacts but ended up with an infection, so i walk round work not seeing anything more than about 50m away!
I vow to break this next year! I know its daft as some the guys i work with i bike with and they know i never ride without my Oakleys!
Pulls up a comfy chair, opens the truffles, anyone? We could be in for an interesting evening ...

If I look good, it's a bonus but with my teeth, my face, my glasses, my body, my hair and my dress sense, it's so unlikely that it's not worth bothering about. To be honest I'm gerenally fairly suspicious of anything or anyone who really looks good. My pimpino looks ace but it's a pain in the arse mechanically.
I always look good, don't even have to try 🙂 mmm....unless I'm wearing 3/4 length baggy shorts a tight base layer and a pair of glasses with orange lenses, then I start to look a bit geeky.

i,ve never come to terms with how gormless i am,and now i seem to be falling for one of my housemates who says she loves me to bits and that i have an awesome personality but she fancies the hunky rugby player type and i,mm short ,balding with big ears .Lifes a bitch eh lol!!
