I know the outwell is a favourite on here, but there must be some downsides to it?

Just bought a Gelert Horizon 8 for my family of four. Loads of space and a better use of space than the Outwell Hartford XL which I was considering.
It is a tunnel tent which may put some off but we think it is excellent.
Cheers shakey. We've got a Coleman trispace 8 at the moment, which is similar to your gelert. I want to change it beacause I want a better cooking space.
I am posting this from a Montana 6 which we have been using for the past 2 weeks. I bought the add-on porch for cooking in. No real downsides other than the weight and packed size.
The living space in the Gelert is 2.8m x 3.5m which looks a lot bigger than the Coleman!
Weight and packed size not really an issue in the grand scheme of things 8) .
Suppose I'll see what deals appear at the end of the summer.
Shakey - I think you are right about the sizing. I'm just not happy about cooking in the main living bit. It's not rational, just me being awkward 😛
