Vaio P series, the tiny one, completely dead. Won't charge for long, sometimes the light stays on for a few mins, sometimes not, but won't respond to anything.
Tried turning it on with the power lead connected but battery out?
If that fails then try a different charger. If neither works then odds on it's either the connection on the motherboard between the charging socket and the mobo or something more terminal.
Well.. tried my usual technique for discoverying reset related button combinations for electronic devices, which is hold down everything possible and mash your hands all over the keyboard - and it started in 'instant-on' mode. So I restarted into Windows and it's fine.
The reason the battery didn't stay charging was that it was full.. d'oh 🙂
