I've just got a gas BBQ (or outdoor grill if you are a purist) It has a regulator to run propane, but I have a few butane bottles as this is what the campervan uses.Â
Is there any reason why I can't just get a butane regular and use my existing bottles? The Internet seems divided on this...Â
I've got many regulators and just used whatever gas I have at the time. Never had a problem.

Just remember the relevant pricing of bottles - I no doubt the ones for the camper will be more expensive than say a 'patio gas' bottle containing 20l-25l of gas.
