I'm panicking!
Test drove a used car from a main dealership and paid a £500 deposit.
I reckon i've made the wrong move and want to cancel (i've saw another car).
What's the best case scenario...have i lost the £500?
Help!!!

i did exact same about 5 years ago. i went home and realised i was going to be paying it off until i was 30 add and i was only 22 at the time.
I rang first thing the next day and cancelled. They refunded me the £500.
They may try and keep the money though these days, who knows. I reckon if it was a main dealership you will be ok. Mine was main dealers VW York.
