I've just finished reading the new Terry Pratchett novel, and was just wondering if any other members had read it or is into Pratchett. I may be reading too much into this (no pun intended), but I found it quite difficult to follow at times, with very little 'flow', and cant help but think his writing (the book was actually dictated) is now being affected by his alzheimers. I feel really sh***y suggesting this, as I've been a fan for years - just curious to know if anyone else had thought the same?

It would be surprising if his writing hadn't been affected in my opinion.
Still, you got to read it, just so you read 'em all 😉

It probably is affected. But if you didn't know he had it, would you still think it?

probably worth buying and reading as I guess he's giving a substantial pile of the cash to charity.

Hi coffeeking - probably not, which is why I said I may be looking for something that's not there. Still enjoyed it, just felt it lacked flow at times, and the characterisation of the 'working class' football fans was a bit clumsy. Still, have to agree with glenh.

If you read the reviews on Amazon, some people are saying it's his best work since Hogfather.

I'd forgotten all about it, so I'll be going past WH Smiths on my way to the car park to buy a copy.

I'll let you know what I think in a day or three.
