I got one a few months ago. Don't play guitar or anything but it's great fun. Pretty easy to get going with so much on youtube etc.

Brilliant things, and easy to make a decent tune on once you've got the basic chords and rhythm sorted.
Grown ups should get a baritone, not the tiny soprano, though. Much better for fat fingers.
