(I’ve helped ring birds at the NT place I volunteer at, the birdy bloke didn’t see the funny side when upon retrieving caught birds I announced them as a baby robin)

Redwings and Fieldfare like to fight the Blackbirds for apples
Last winter the blackbirds that have my garden as part of their territory were going nuts trying to stop the Fieldfare and Redwing interlopers from stealing all their berries off my pyracantha hedges!
I shall love it and pet it and keep it warm.
His name is George! Not ‘it’. 🙄
