Panasonic or Samsung can't go too wrong with either, do you want 3D, DLNA, Freesat, Plasma, LED etc, you really need to be specific about your requirements.

LED TV's aren't available yet probably have to wait until next year
Probably get a better deal in the sales in January if you can make it that long

I got mine from PC world, LG for half price. Seem to have good deals by the door cheaper than Comet n'that.

Just bought new samsung 40" LED backlit smart TV from John Lewis with free 5 year gaurantee for £499. IMO a great buy
