Been cycling around with a broken wrist for 3 months including SDW in a day! 🙂

Fell off my bike three months ago, knocked myself out blah de blah.

Anyway wrist has been sore ever since, had 2 x-rays and an MRI, MRI results in today, broken Hamate bone on the hook whatever that is? Consultant says not a lot you can do about it.

No need for this post but felt the need to share in a broken wrist waving way 🙂

I had a bad chest infection a few years back, carried on as usual though a little slower and plenty of stops for coughing fits. Turns out I had pneumonia

Funnily enough that is exactly what happened to me, broken wrist in four places, three months of riding later (after being told by the minor injuries clinic it was nothing to worry about) I thought I'd better do something about the discomfort, the fracture clinic took an Xray and lo and behold four fractures that had begun to fuse, I'll never have full movement in that wrist again.

Yep, off to Chester Zoo and now I feel fully prepared to jump into the cage and punch a baboon.

I *might* have broken both ankles and my left thumb (at different times). Was never bothered to get em checked out though.

Also, a falling building smashed my entire skeleton to dust on the way in to work this morning. Might have a paracetamol when I get home.

If it wasn't for the wrist injury you could have spent the past few months much more productively watching internet porn rather than wasting time here!

pffft! that's not 'ard. We've just got back from holiday during which my 3 year old had a "bit of a cough" for most of the second week which turned out to be pneumonia which landed him in hospital for 5 days whilst we were away. That's 'ard. (he's much better now)

pffft back at ya. I didn't even know I had it. only when they did a chest x-ray for a suspected cracked rib that they saw the scar or something. Reckon it was the coughing, and it wasn't cracked it was cartilage damage apparently. Not that I was bovered.

Glad yer sprog is better now. you do know you're not meant to keep them outside at night don't you?

Playing 5 a side a couple of years ago had a bad tackle and banged my head while the stars cleared i went in goal , on the way home my elbow started to ache but went to bed thinking nowt of it but in the mornin i knew something was not right so A&E i went , turned out to be a smashed Radial head 😯 which needed the pieces screwing back together .
8 weeks later i did the Dyfi enduro but it took about 1yr to get full movement back 😉

I ate two deadly nightshade berries when I was 18 months old and didn't die.

I had my face chewed by a dog aged 3 and didn't cry (went right through my cheek so I had a second mouth) - I think it was mree shock TBH. The stitching hurt though despite the anaesthetic.

I drank bleach when I was like 3.

I smacked the crap out of my hand on the first corner of the first lap of SITS one year, severe pain on every bump.. I went on to do more laps than anyone in the team, including taking up their wet overnight slack.
