New condenser, just about to install in the utility and realised there is a gas pipe the the fire at the back. Is this a problem? Power socket I was going to use is very close too. Any thing to be concerned about?

Tumble dryer moves around damages pipe. Tumble dryer has a fault sets itself on fire and ruptures gas pipe and blows up house. That sort of thing.

Unlikely - tumble dryers don't move around - they rotate at low speed so not like an out of balance washing machine. If you're that bothered about it then you could box in the gas pipe?

My tumble dryer is a gas tumble dryer so always in close proximity to gas pipe. But it doesn't have a reputation of bursting into flames like some of the new high efficiency tumble dryers can.

Yep, do your research again and buy a gas tumble dryer.
Looking forward to getting ours connected again after moving.
Bills on electric one were a bit of a shock!

You'd think someone in the fire service might be a little less piss-takey of people showing some forethought in the placement of gas & electric stuff.
