I assume if you had a minibus version that the rows of seats can be removed? But I can't find anything that proves it.
This video shows they fold up, but can the seats be taken out easily? Plumber in the office was trying to convince me to buy one.

The release handle is in the middle of each of those seats in the pic, near the floor. It’s in the owners’ manual which you can download.

But be aware they are f'ing heavy - nearly 60kg for the double. We also found the release red tabs had a tendency to disconnect at the ends, which was a proper pita to reconnect.

BUT... Great van, especially the lwb version. Masses of space for bikes, kids, camping etc.

BUT... get the locks looked at. Ours was nicked using a tumbler key off the drive without us even noticing (we were in)

@sheeps yep agree, the standard lock is shocking, all Custom owners should get it sorted ASAP if not done so already! Good news is a decent lock is not expensive & pretty easy to DIY. I also moved/secured the OBD port to prevent them just plugging in a laptop & driving off (arguably overkill if you’ve stopped them getting in the cab though!) and had deadlocks fitted (all vans are pretty easy to peel open without these).

Lock

I went for the extra bezel but not the Armaplate. Loom guard is a new one to me (not available when I got my lock) & not a threat I was aware of!
Would recommend this company purely because there’s a tricky bit in the installation that needs a bit of a knack, there is a phone number you can ring on the instructions & they were happy to talk me through it over the phone!

OBD port

Came with good instructions, you move the port to inside a little lock-box which you mount on the floor in front of the gear lever. Can’t remember the exact process but it was straightforward.

Local auto locksmith did the deadlocks for me as he owed me a favour so can’t comment on how easy they were to install, they look like these ones though

We have the LWB. Removed the 3rd row double when we bought it and it will only ever go back if we sell it. Heavy dosent even describe it, especially when its lifted above head height for storage. The rest we just flip about to get 4 full bikes and four adults in.
