Does anyone know anything about the intricacies of train tickets?
I have a ticket from "London terminals" to Wool, can I get off a plane at Heathrow, and jump on a few trains and possibly the underground to eventually end up at Wool, or do I have to get there and buy a ticket to say Waterloo (where the train to Wool leaves from) and then use my ticket?
All this is complicated further as i will arrive with £13 and no debit/credit card, oh and it will be Christmas eve!
Thanks in advance!
Piccadilly Line to Green Park, then Jubilee Line to Waterloo, it'll take about 50 mins.
Not sure how much that'll cost, but less than £13 at any rate!
Oh, didn't realise it was that easy! Thanks!
Remember not all trains stop at wool, if your able to get off at Wareham it increases the number of trains open to you. I live in wool and am going voluntary work in London for the next couple of days and am travelling up and back each day via the wonderful southwest trains.
could always get the rail air bus from Heathrow to Woking and pick up the wool train from their - probably work out quicker and less hassle... than going into london and back out - most Weymouth trains stop at Woking as well.
40mins on bus from airport to woking ticket is about £11.. could of then got a ticket from Woking to Wool and that would have saved a bit more
ps no matter what, SWT suck.
+ 1 for Rootes 1. Sounds like a travel Warrant? get the Coach to Woking, so much easier than trying to fight your way through London.
