I have to get to a training course near the Leeds climbing wall (Brown Lane West) anyone advise on traffic level around there? Got to be there for 9 am, driving from hull way on.

621 gets clogged up, as does the inner ring road. Best bet would be probably come off the motorway into Leeds then off Armley Gyratory back towards motorways, come off left where matalan is, right at that roundabout, right at the next one queuing over the bridge then left at the next one.

To be honest, you're going to queue either way, but traffic tends to move steadily in leeds, you are not stopped for long! Might be as well coming off the 621 at eland road and queuing for a bit (easier if nothing else!). I avoid driving in rush hour if i can help it, maybe get there nice and early, park up, walk over to Elland road, get a sausage and egg mcmuffin and a coffee flavoured drink and walk back relaxed an bloated?

M62 westbound queues at most times of day, but especially in the morning & evening rush; queue starts at J26 and can frequently reach J30, so get off at J30 & head into Leeds on the A642 & A639 if you do find it queuing; you can then pick up the M621 at Stourton to follow it to Elland Road as described above
