I need to fit a towbar on my '07 Berlingo, seems they can be bought for around £70, are they easy to diy fit?
Have a look on one of the online fitting websites, when you put your car in the database it often says if the bumper needs cutting or similar. Obviously the electrics need to be put in too. I reckon the price of fitting is worth it to save the faff - some cars can be easy but a lot of modern ones are a pain.
Towbar express did my Passat in about 1/2hr.
Supply and fit. Well worth it to save on the grubbing around under the back of a dirty car in mid November.
Try P F Jones for the bar, electrics and fitting guide. Did my Freelander 2 in about an hour plus half an hour to put all the interior plastic back! The earth terminal was well hidden! A second pair of hands is useful as the bar can be heavy - DAMHIK!
