Was just listening to that Black Sands album yesterday.

Here's a nice chilled tune for you.

I used to love bonobo but this is a bit insipid. Maybe it's my mood today but not an album I'd bu.
Reminds me, I should dig out their old stuff.

Black Sands and Dial M were classics, his last two have been beyond bland.

I'm hoping to get Migration for my birthday so haven't heard it yet, hoping it's a return to form as North Borders was a bit 'elevator.'

Mind you it was always going to a be big ask to follow up the masterpiece that was Black Sands.

Bonobo always trod a fine line between lovely tunes and late 30's middle glass dinner party backing tracks. This has slid towards the latter for me.

But then I do like my beats a bit more glitchy.

I'd say early 40s.

I'm enjoying it.

A relief when the XX album turned out to be so dull.
