Today's photo

Whilst brewing for the first time in years this morning I spotted a spectacled monarch nest building within sight of my kettle. Reeksy2 got the long lense out and snapped away.

Clearing up after the River Avon flooded Chippenham town centre over the weekend.

After a nice sunny day, a sign there’s more rain coming…

A couple of different aspects to today…

Finally managed to get a couple of photos of one of the magpies that visit - they’re very wary, I’ve tried getting a photo by just poking the phone above the bottom of the window, but they spot any movement and they’re off!
Took these from the bedroom window and I was stood back far enough it didn’t spot me.

Not a very good photo (5 miles away with a phone camera) but the tallest building in Yorkshire keeps getting new floors put on it. Leeds skyline has really changed over the past few years.
