Can't even make out Reculver in the uploaded version, it's quite clear with my middle aged naked eyes.
A few of these fritillaries have appeared in a wild bit of our garden. Will they spread naturally?
Yes, with luck; if they’ve appeared naturally, then the conditions suit them so they should continue to spread. Back in 2013 a solitary cowslip turned up in my lawn - now they’re everywhere, the only thing that’s spreading faster are the violets, and they’re a bloody nuisance! The cowslips I can live with; same with the primroses, I found one solitary and rather unhappy looking plant hidden under an evergreen shrub, which I evicted to the benefit of the primroses which are spreading, although more slowly than the cowslips.
Snake's head fritillaries are possibly my favourite flower. I have them popping up in random places in my garden including the occasional white ones.
Apple tree in bloom!
A perfect evening for shooting some sticks! 😁
My friend Caron’s Truffle Hound, waiting for me to throw a stick in the river so he can play Poo sticks under the bridge!
Another perfect evening, 40yds today, getting better…
My apple tree, coming into full bloom.
Absolutely perfect morning for chucking some sticks at targets! I’ve caught the sun a bit too, not quite what I’d expect in mid-April…

Helensburgh to Arrochar.
having the electric assist really helped maintain the momentum on some very fast roads.
shame about my saddle. The gel can’t support my weight, so I’m basically riding atop the saddles frame. Like balancing on the corner of a filing cabinet 😣😣😣
It must be Easter, because my arse was crucified.
luckily, I managed to find momentary solace in the Green Kettle.
