I couldn't get a ticket and didn't dare listen on t'radio. We were off up the A19 to visit the in-laws in Toon-land and the first I knew was when Mrs_drummer said "you're winning 2-1 and it's injury time..."

We were driving back from friends in Chester and my wife suggested I pulled over so she could drive as she feared for her safety as I jumped like a loon when Beckford scored. 🙂 I didn't go to the match as I couldn't have beared to have been there if we didn't get the result we needed - sat through too many games like that already.
