I should think this will be the end of his England career but wouldnt have thought he would have too much more too offer anyway.

Seems a bit excessive to me though especially considering the state the RFU is in!

At least he can concentrate on his club rugby now, if he can remain injury free for 5 minutes. Especially as Glaws are now without their best centre who has not exactly covered himself in glory recently.

He hasn't had much to offer on the pitch for a while now, he should be out of the squad for that reason anyway.
The fine seems excessive - was his behaviour any worse than anyone elses? More like he got a lot of headlines because of who he is married to.
Smacks of scapegoating to me.

The RFU are a right shower, can't see them sorting themselves out either. It's a sorry state of affairs.

I think there's politics here. I believe they've made a scapegoat / example of someone not likely to play or England again anyway.

I wouldnt be suprised if Tindall agreed to do this anyway (knowing he won't play or England again)to help set an example that the RFU wanted to set, yet avoid having to do it to a player they want to keep.

IMO, Tuilagi was just as irresponsible if not worse and gets away with it 'cause the want him in the squad next year and potentially WC 2015.

Shambles, as said above.

FWIW wilkinsons book is probably worth a read - he was very sheepish on the Beeb this morning.
