Well, many years since I bought ski boots (Lange XR 8.5 - that is how long ago).
Salomon Impact CS100 took my eye but annoying little right inner ankle irritation and they also felt a bit floppy when warm.
Ended up with Nordica Arrow F4 - fitted better and slightly firmer flex.
Did not even know Nordica still made boots - had a pair of NR981 back in the day...but these new ones are a little more forgiving....
I was breaking in new ski boots today. A painful work-in-progress.

981's! With the clicky dial on the back? I had some of those, loved them!
I've got a Nordica shaped foot and after trying with other brands, always ended up with Nordicas so if the 981's fitted, sure you've made the right choice in brand. Nordica still make boots and they are excellent.
