Apologies to the mods first of all, I know this isn't the done thing, feel I need to get my tuppence in though.
Right, I am not the best at responding to emails at the best of times, but when I'm in bed with the flu, it's not going to be immediate. CRC, Merlin and Wiggle etc. can take days to get back to you at busy periods, and they've got an army of full time staff!
Within hours of receiving an email asking what's going on (the reply was going to be that the wheels, as mentioned on friday, were on their way), having not responded (again, I'm in bed with the flu, it wasn't high on my list of priorities to even check my emails) I've now seen abusive posts on this forum made against me, and now slanderous messages and posts all over facebook about my business basically calling me a liar and a thief! 😕
I originally apologised to the buyer last week that I'd been a little tardy sending said wheels, I'd tried to send them but the courier I used wouldn't send them without a phone number, so I got back in touch asking for the buyer's phone number. Once I had the phone number, I could re-book the pickup of the wheels. I may be wrong here, but I don't feel I've a lot else to apologise for!
Payment has now been witheld on paypal so I'm out of pocket.
The buyer has been spouting off about me as if I'm some kind of calculated rip off merchant all over this forum and social media.
I'm at a loss!
I hope the buyer enjoys the wheels in the end, as they've certainly not been worth £80 in terms of the hassle this has caused me!
