About 10 mins ago I Googled something, and all of the links have the text "This site may harm your computer" beneath them. Clicking on any of the links takes me to a Google warning/advisory page.
Searching for anything e.g. 'BBC' brings this up and I can't continue through to any web pages (getting just the Google warning page) Anyone know why?
I'm getting the same thing too
Same here in Holland - must be some Google stupidity
I just "googled" Google and got the same message 😆
S'annoying, in't it?
Ok thanks, nice to know it's not just me 🙂
Same here in Oz - has me confused.
No change there
World grinds to halt now internet search engine falls over
Phew - came here to ask the same question. Glad to see im not the only one being affected..... I can't google anything without getting the message either.
yup had the same thing one minute was fine next,
thought it was my computer,
but started up another machine and did the same,
and was going post the same thread
has google been hacked????
farse??
happened on the Leeds Uni ISP network
been using http://www.ixquick.com in the meantime or just do direct urls to sites. pain in the ass mind you!
Not seen Google this screwed up for a long time. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I wonder if it is just a bug or maybe a disgruntled employee. Anyway when you go to one of these "visiting this web site may harm your computer!" pages the url is something like "http://www.google.co.uk/interstitial?url= http://www.bbc.co.uk /" just delete the first part of the url "http://www.google.co.uk/interstitial?url=" and it will take you to the page you wanted.
I just "googled" Google
😮 you can't do that; it'll break the internet!
Seems to be fixed
Gone now.
and the spike of internet activity drops 🙂
phew...thought my laptop had xcrewed up.
i ran avg and that seemed to fix it ,but might be a coincidence
