This vey restorable MkII Jaguar is sitting in a field next door to my sister's house in France. It's owner has stripped it of all the chrome, bonnet and boot lid.

Monsieur, get it under cover please!

Bloody hell, what a shame. ๐Ÿ™
That's almost criminal neglect, that.

No heated mirrors or roof rails either. ๐Ÿ˜

My maternal uncle used to own a lovely wire wheeled Mk.II with O/D. He sold it when it got too expensive to run in the early late 1970s IIRC. It was immaculate. He got peanuts for it.

My son wanted to know if we could take the DS home and restore it!
Yeah,I can't see any problems with that apart from it being one of the most complex old cars to restore and being located half way up an Alp 800 miles from home!

There's loads of uber expensive cars abandoned in the Arab states, it all happened after the bubble burst a couple of years ago. Pitty, that 220 is worth 3 x what it was new...

Do painting of it Mcmoonter, just like it is now, before it disappears.

Win win..The car (sorta) gets saved and you make money rather than spending it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Chris - that sounds like the one, it's near Bradford-on-Avon. He's got a load more cars in a barn out back.

Gary - didn't look like it had been there long, apart from the flat tyres it was mint. Someone had made a half-arsed attempt to cover it but the cover was on the floor.

I can't for the life of me remember where it is, but somewhere in north London there's a hedge growing through a landrover. Kinda like this:
