Gloves are my most popular thing to lose one of.

Top tip: camoflage gloves are not recommended on night rides if you drop one in a forest

I never spend much money on sunglasses because their days a numbered as soon as they come into my possession

Front door Key and back door key.

They're always in one of many pockets across multiple pairs of shorts, jeans, jackets.  BUT WHICH ONE!!!

Right work gloves. I wasn't aware it was always the right until I had the idea of buying a pack of ten so that I could always make a pair if I lost one. Ended up with ten left gloves.

Overshoes. Buy 'em in the summer cheap, can't find 'em when they're required.

You lot need to be more organised. I don’t lose any of that shit - apart from small screws which I always drop. Every ****ing time. Even when I’m being extra careful.

One sock and glasses. I must have half a dozen single socks in my drawer, the other one no where to be found. With riding glasses, it's like that episode of Father Ted. 4 pairs in the last 12 months, all lost out riding.

My temper. Too quickly and too often.
However, it’s usually short-lived and soon forgotten. Unlike my wife who rarely loses her temper, but when she does, it’s scary.

Can't say I have ever owned an umbrella to lose.

Confidence/positivity/social skills.Sometimes used to think I was making progress. Then brain/life/whatever just say nope.

DT swiss squarkle washers. Fiddly wee bastaaaaaaards

To the extent that I've bought a whole extra set for a wheel build this evening and thought I'd not lost one!

Then two fell out of the rim.

If DT rims weren't completely unkillable for me, I'd be chucking them in the sea. Number of DT rims I've killed=0. Currently 6 in rotation over 6 bikes.

What the **** kind of situations are you putting yourself in where you need camo gloves?  "Hey look, there's a bloke over there with no hands!"

Are you Fingerbobs?

Which is why I use wired headphones and earphones - I can mislay a pair occasionally, but I don’t lose them.

Which is the same with most of my possessions, they might get put away somewhere, or just put down somewhere, but the most important keys, my car keys, have AirTags attached, and a few other things have Chipolo One trackers attached.
Things like my wallet and phone have lanyards attached to them - my wallet fell out of my pocket at work, when I took a car down to the secondary storage area, so my supervisor came down with me to see if I could recognise any likely car; fortunately it was the third car in the row we started on! There were roughly 1000 cars in that storage area…

It now has a very strong lanyard attached.

Ahhh Fingerbobs…..

“Yofi (?) lifts a finger, and a mouse is there. Yofi lifts another, and a seagull takes the air… Finger Bobs, Finger Bobs….”

No idea how I remember the lyrics to the theme tune, can’t remember what I did yesterday but stupid lyrics.. oh yep.

The cable does my nut. Either too short or too long. And it means I am tethered to my phone. These are bad things in a workshop.

I couldn't deal with earbuds. I use wireless ones, but they're connected so can sit round my neck when i've not using them.

Earbuds. I spend my time equally working, sleeping and looking for earbuds.

I don't lose them individually, it's the slippery little box I lose. I could easily, and within minutes, lose them if was locked in a sealed box.

Recently discovered that skullcandy earbuds use tile technology so you can find them in the house. I thought my prayers had been answered and ordered some.

Unfortunately the app almost always hangs on the 'searching for your earbuds' message.

So that's two of us trying and failing.

See I thought this was the answer but I also spend a lot of time with one and I find them really annoying.

For me earbuds are absolutely the correct tool for the job. I just wish I could keep hold of them.

Pictonroad, which ear?

Cycling glasses, if I don't lose them I drop them and scratch the lenses. Now I just buy 3 or 4 pairs of safety specs from screwfix.
