im looking for things to do with a mate of mine who is visiting from New zealand,
we have to make a journey from cornwall to bristol on his last day but have the whole day to kill, so does anyone have any ideas?
i think wel be heading of route to Stonehenge...
Clovelly springs to mind.
You could combine it with Croyde/Woolacombe too.
If you're going to detour that far, go to Avebury rather than Stonehenge - muchos better.
Or just go to Bristol? A great city with masses to see and do.
Mtbiking Exmoor - minehead to porlock, the granny run, horners woods, dunkary beacon - splendid old man.
Diggerland?
Assuming you are starting in Cornwall, Lands End by any chance? then the Eden Project would be a good place to go although you need to go for at least half a day to do it justice.
In Devon then driving through Dartmoor would be good, if the weather is OK, the scenery is fantastic.
