Mr Nutt wins it for me. I love cheese, and CB is the best. Bonus is that my mate lives in the village and we quite often get a chunk when we go over.

Love cheese, me. Sometimes get the bug again and make some - an example of a yummy home-made full brie next to a big tin of mustard!

Fiddly, but no harder than fitting a headset!

Cheesemaking forum is a good place to start

Go to the forums, cheesemaking is hidden away amongst the sausage lovers!

Semi matured chilli red cheshire. I know, I know, but it tasted great after 6 months of maturing.

Golden Brie or any brie made with Jersey milk.

Left until it tries to run away when you open the cheese box

it's like cheese flavoured butter :HOMER:

Mackem - Cabrales reminds me of a holiday a few years back in the Picos de Europa. Went into a shop and the Cabrales they had was literally liquid goo in the middle! Had some on a steak at a restaurant one night - fantastic!

As for favourite cheeses, Lincolnshire Poacher does it for me!

For me it has to be organic Somerset Cheddar, on Jacob's cream crackers 🙂

what the hell is wrong with you people?

Lancashire, mature cheddar or as above, mature cheshire.

Brie!!!! Are you on Juustoleipa?

When I first saw this thread I thought it was goingto be a discussion on who makes the best/worst chainrings.

A Lancashire Bomb is a damn fine cheese.

But...

Brie de Meaux is just lovely, after that all other Brie is second rate.

Just googled Juustoleipa, need to try that some time.

Blessed are the cheesemakers.

Calm down samuri. Kirkhams lancs is great but so is Brie.

Cheshire cheese is the daddy of British cheeses.

You are of course allowed an alternative opinion, as long as you understand that it is wrong.

I like Colston Bassett a lot, but it gets taken out by Cropwell Bishop - way smoother, more like a Roquefort than a Stilton.

If I had to pick a cheese that could metaphorically kick all other cheese's arses, it would have to be Casa Marzu.
