I've never smoked cigarettes or vaped, but I do very occasionally, maybe once or twice a year, like a nice cigar.
I think this might be the next one I try as I've enjoyed a couple of other Oliva offerings
Anyone else partake?

The first thing I ever smoked was a fat cigar i pinched from my dad and then proceeded to smoke it in 3 parts, stubbing it out and storing the remainder in the hedge for the next day.

It was very much the tom sawyer experience of smoking; after a cracking start, I soon went green around the gills.

No enjoyed once since really đŸ˜›

I went through a brief phase a few years ago, my brother likes them and gave me a few to try.  I'm also a lifelong non smoker but I convinced myself a very occasional nice cigar was enjoyable.  I sort of enjoyed the smell of it, the ritual and the perceived decadence of it, but eventually realised the actual act of smoking it was to me, pretty minging.

Back in the day I used to enjoy the occasional cigar.... in the right surroundings and circumstances. My favourite was an Upmann but can't remember which one. Looking at today's prices I think they'd be a bit rich for me now.

Cigar smoke is more pleasant than cigarette smoke, but it’s still absolutely a disgusting habit.

disgusting habit

There is a good question. What constitutes a habit? I would say the op's once or twice a year does not.

The fact that they feel the need to do it suggests it is.

I'm not sure.  The OP said "Like" not "need". "once or twice a year". By that definition of habit, then I've got a Christmas dinner habit, a pancake habit etc. etc.

Fixed for the pedants drac.

I tend to agree but i would file it in the drinking until you slur your words level.

Need isn't the same as desire.

I like a whisky from time to time, every few weeks or so. There are five bottles in my drinks cupboard all at various stages of being drunk.

If I 'needed' whisky there'd be none in the cabinet and I'd be off to the off licence for another bottle.

As for cigars - I've always fancied one but never had one. I quite like the idea of a pipe too - my grandad always smoked one and I loved the ritual of lighting one when I was a nipper.

Hmmm, this has reminded me I have three monstrously expensive stolen Cuban cigars in a humidor bag thing somewhere.

I must dig them out of the wardrobe and make myself nauseous over the festivities sometime 🙂
