What a splendid book this is - as authentically grim as it is laugh-out-loud. Shame the bloke died in his prime.

My "O" level English Lit. book. I remember really enjoying it, I should dig a copy out and read it again.

Tried reading this a few times but couldn't seem to get into it. I kept getting lost with all the characters. I should try again
