Well that guy is driven, his determination to get to the bottom of a drug problem was quite something, sadly when he got to the bottom the problem managed to just get a whole lot worse.
Cant help feeling that the US puts the profit of companies above the health of its people, not just on this occasion. 400,000 deaths from opiod abuse yet no real plan to stop companies and bent money chasing profiteers from benefitting. Yet they will spend billions bombing some middle eastern countries without much thought.
The fact the attorney general saw no reason to stop that doctor signing prescriptions with no real health benefits to patients shows how wrong it it to have the AG position as a political appointment.
Anyway, little bit of karma came the way of that doctor.
I saw the trailer, it told me enough of the story to confirm just how ****ed up America is. Any attempt to drag our own health\education\social\justice systems towards an American model should be stopped in its tracks by massive public protest and riots. But our donkeys keep leading us in that direction and we follow without a whimper, sigh.
