is seeking £50,000 from parent company Unilever for the "depression and psychological damage" caused by the lack of any Lynx effect.

That's nothing to the depression and psychological damage that will suffer in court when Unilever prove that he can't get a date becasue he is a sad, worthless, hopeless looser and not because of the lack of a Lynx effect.

Lynx - marketed as Axe in India

Surely the story title should be -
"Lack of axe wounds from using axe"

Lynx is marketed in France as Axe and I picked a couple of bottles of "Anti-Hangover" (green goo sold in the UK as "Recovery". Seemed to help as long as you can make it as far as the shower.
