MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Me and Mr.S watched this last night.
Bloody brilliant film.
If you like a strong topical action thriller, you'll like this.
Chan and Brosnan are superb. In fact, all the cast do a great job.
It's a two hour film that seemed half that.
Yep - agree with this. Hadn't heard anything about it but popped up on Netflix and was very pleasantly surprised.
Wasn't expecting much from it but really enjoyed it.
It’s not the usual Jackie Chan fayre - very good indeed - and I love most of his movies.
I just suggested it and got 'that look'. Snowed in today, looks like more slush ahoy...
Well worth a watch. More serious than his usual films, although we like those as well.
Really enjoyed it, Jackie Chan showed what a very competent actor he is, totally unexpected. The final scene with the anti-terror police was brilliant.
Yeah, took me by surprise. Great movie.
Yeah I thought it was great different to what I expected (I like the "standard" Jakie Chan stuff) but it was excellent
Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fully recommended.
That's the afternoon sorted. Ta!
Great performance from Jackie Chan. Gritty, edgy and exciting film!
That was awesome!
Pity there was no outtakes at the end though!
I enjoyed it, Jackie Chan is something of a miracle, especially considering his age.
Brosnan really got a chance to act for once.
Certainly better than that other Netflix film Bright
Just started watching it. So far I am very impressed with how accessible both the top brass of the Met are, as well as leading Northern Irish politicians. 8)
Just about to watch Jeepers Creepers 3. I don't expect to be writing a similarly enthusiastic review of it.
thumbs up from me too.
Quite liked it, good to see Jackie doing something out of his comfort zone, I thought he was really good. +1 on the lack of outtakes! đŸ™‚
Certainly better than that other Netflix film Bright
Expected a lot from that and bailed 20 minutes in. It's like they had a pre-prod meeting and the first thing on the board was "no pace".
I laughed at the thought of the "pitch" to produce the movie.
Jackie chan -"hopeless combat specialist takes on the ira ". Guffaw.
Steven Seagal should take note.
It made my ironing pile zoom by . đŸ™‚
3/10 from me, something wrong with the directing
pierce held it together otherwise it would have been a write off
Just at the shootout scene in the flat.
.....mindless entertainment, wonky dialogue. Perfect Sunday night entertainment.
I enjoyed it, never heard anything about it and had no expectations of it being good really. I think that's what made it good. If someone told me it was great and I should watch it then it would probably have been more meh.
Thanks op. Liked it.
I watched it by accident so wasn't expecting anything but I really enjoyed it.
Isn't this stuff objective? I just tried watching it and couldn't bear it!
It was pretty fun, but was hoping that it turned into some epic deeply dark revenge flick.... an updated/higher budget Dead Mans Shoes.... it wasn't.
Can't help thinking Brosnan has a look of Gerry Adams about him
Teresa May and Gerry Adams were brilliant in it too. đŸ™‚
I thought teresa was a rather "overacted" in the sense she appeared to have some personality which was just very unrealistic
Missus out at gig so telly to myself. Liked it, not seen a film like that in a while, reminds me of Patriot Games (barring obvious IRA connection).
Chan's getting on a bit though, obvious CGI on roof and not many stunts. Good to see him doing serious stuff again though.
