have to say I thought the film was gash but would like to read the book.

The Race is a great read about a road race.

I have a signed copy of his book somewhere. I met him at a signing when it was first released. He was very dry humoured when I met him and he seems like a lovely bloke. The book is a hard read at times but well done to him for putting in all the bad stuff that has happened to him.

i knew him from when i worked at irvine cycles just about the time he broke the hour record the first time in hamar,
he is indeed a lovely bloke, with a very dry sense of humour.
also, i had a brief shot on old faithful, for about 50 yards, i had to get off it to turn around as the front wheel overlapped the cranks !!
thats my claim to fame, lol.
