On ITV4 now. I love this film. Tense, gritty, and of its time.

Fortunately, it was the proper version.

I'm a massive fan, helps that my dad has exactly the same White Alfa spider that he drives around in 🙂

Best book I've ever read.
Gripping, right to the last page.

Re-reading the novel at the moment. I'd forgotten quite how good it is! Film is great too.

The book is superb, probably the best I have read.
The film? It's OK. I'd probably have liked it more if I hadn't read the book first.

This is a film I reckon could be remade well. Still set in the 60's though.I like the feel of it. Telephone cables and typewriters. Attention to detail and methodical. Who would play the Jackal though?

It's a great book. Suits the p[ace very well. Film is good but not as good as book IMO.

Dogs of War is actually a great little book as well - chat was that FF had had some hand in a similar coup attempt - pre Mark Thatcher..?
