Funny you mention that Klunk, but lying in bed this morning I was surprised by how much of a dawn chorus there was, when normally it would be pretty much silent this time of year.

Well, that's how it works I'm afraid; the Dominant Culture suppresses the Savages and forces their own culture upon them.

Sorry about that. 😳

I'll give you electricity to make up for it though, how's that sound?

The weather is playing havoc - was up at Carsington Water today and the premature spring like weather brought a couple of pairs of Great Tits I wasn't expecting to be seeing 😳

Getting back to the OP. Little bods(colloquialism?) will use nest boxes during colder months for roosting and may be just changing their bedding. Sorry to spoil any fun 😕

57kms around Moray today and saw lots of gorse in bloom. This is not right. It was cold today though. Probably 10 deg colder than last night. Still nice.

no definitely starting nesting, they're always begin by pecking at the hole to make it larger and they've paired up and been in and out all day.

Team: I'm Scottish. You start getting the piss ripped out of you pretty much straight after you breach.

Do I really find that offensive? What do you think?

Grant: he's already replied, might be best to put that port away... 😉 (that's for team in case he misses the subtle Scottish humour)
