I've got to get from Bankside to Aldgate East. Last night and this morning I went along Fenchurch St but it's frigging busy - are there any nice secret quiet streets that might help?

Walking I assume ? London is a busy place ...

Look on the map, but how aboit take the wobbly bridge, queen Victoria street (busy) to Bank, Cornhill past royal exchange (closing scene of Bridget jones), at end of Cornhill is the Jamacia Inn one of Londons oldest pubs and next to building whe samuel peeps lived for a whole cut through Leadenhall Market (harry potter diagone alley) for the fun of it and out onto Lime St then to Aldgate East

Walking is more interesting and only 20 mins I'd guess ... you can take my route just push the bike over the footbridge from Tate Modern, bank interchange might be quite entertaining ...

20 mins? Seemed further on Google. I'd prefer to walk I think.

I've done Bank junction before, that's one of the things that puts me off cycling in the City 🙂
