The "Chief/boss" thing might a bit overdone. Someone at the BEEB clearly thinks this is a good thing as I am sure it could be edited out if desired.What I would say is that to me it is no worse than the "Cockney" thing that is the staple on nearly ever other program that airs these days.

Making me feel less inclined to watch is the whole Dibnah-esque thing they have going on. Boiler suit that is permanently grubby, oily hands and such. Maybe that is really what the lad is like. All the regular close ups of his broken nails and oil ingrained hands suggests it might well be.

Anyway, cotton from sheep....!

I'm sort of liking it, but the clock tower steeplejack bit was just to much like Fred Dibnah.
I'm a fan of his riding & outlook on things but he needs to find his own direction.
