First ride for a while today due to injury and my fitness is sh*t. Was having a shocker and considering turning back and going home early but then another biker passed me going the opposite way and gave me a class A biker's nod. That was all I needed. Gave me a bit of a boost, I pressed on, and got in the zone. Thank you that man near Hale village.

The bikers nod, you dont get that if one is a roadie and youre on an mtb. I can even be commuting on my mtb one day and you get nothing the very next day, same rider but me on a road bike and you get a full hello there.
