..is all the absolutely awesome cars / trucks that are on the road heading to Goodwood!!

Saw some beautiful TVRs on the way in this morning, and something on a flat bed that looks like a dark orange lotus type thing, but wasn't...

Reminds me of the time I was in the Type-R and thought I'd out accelerate some 'brick of a dakar-team truck' at a roundabout, so as 'not to be stuck behind it'... Yup - it was surprisingly quick and left us behind!

So - anyone heading to Goodwood - post up pics as I can't make it this year.... 😥

Seeing Ferraris and Lambos stuck in the same massive great traffic jam as you must be a treat indeed!

You should see the streets of That London's Famous Chelsea and Westminster when the summer influx of middle eastern car pron arrives...

Nowhere near as tasteful as the Goodwood crowd, but still utterly fascinating.

The FOS means the A27 is blocked from Portsmouth through Worthing..

Good event though, if you can get in that is.

@CFH - the car porn never leaves - it's just parked in the Park Lane car park all year, rows and rows of 'em

Was in the pub near Bignor last year and it was full of FOS entrants, some in period dress. All good fun.

Followed one of these along the M27 yesterday morning

Got to work, and straight on autotrader for 2nd hand elises, which are (slightly) more realistic. Pulled myself together before any impulse marriage breakers occurred.

Brack .- Got that paint restorer at my house if you still want to give it a go?

I went yesterday to the moving motor show . Very busy and very hot. It is the place to see 50 years of motorsport in one place . Saw John Surtees in a 60's single seater in the pit area , and some billys trying to drivw fast up the hill in brand new cars .
The Martini stand is very good ( drool ) MArtini logo XJ220 , Delta , S4 etc beautiful. as were alot of the promo girls , especially the ones on the Alfa stand . ( drool )

If driving from A3 / Portsmouth DO NOT USE A27 Go in via Emsworth /Fishbourne to miss alot of traffic.

was down near Lake Garda last week and one of the roads was closed as there was a hill climb rally taking place. and not your typical british road climbing affair with little Healeys and such like.... they had Ferraris, Porsches, things i've never seen before, old Golfs, R8s... all sorts. made a right racket and i could smell the rubber in the air.

kinda cool, despite the fact i'm not really interested in cars.

saw a Lambo%&/i today. looked shit. really cheap looking.

The best thing about Sussex at this time of year? Posh nobs and fast cars? Surely not!

tomaso, you've hit the spot! Only to be trumped by one of the best reasons to be in Suffolk - Adnams Broadside. And guess where I am...

I have to say FOS has got too popular and commercial now. 🙁

We went yesterday (10th time) in a vague hope it'd be a bit quieter. Unfortunately it wasn't.......

Tip for avoiding the traffic? Get there early! It also helps to know the back country lanes if you want a lovely sunny scenic drive back.

I'm coming from Worthing, to do out-of-hours in the back of the hospital....
AA Roadwatch says all the trouble should be on the other side of the road...

Nice cars all over the place today. Saw a 458, couple of Lambos, what I think was a D type replica and a Morgan three wheeler around Danbury/Maldon area.

I'm with Tomaso!! My Local us surrounded by Harvey's hop fields, and from there you can still see one of the few working oast houses that dries them. Real circle of life stuff - makes the beer taste so much better!!

The GFoS is great - more Petrolheads in W Sussex leaves the east side free for us bicyclists!!

Aye by late-August I should be enjoying Sussex's finest. The fact you can't buy it outside of a fairly small area around Lewes makes it quite special. I can almost see the route accross the Downs linking pubs in Jevington Alfriston East Dean...
