If you're somewhere that has a defib of some description nearby then yes it probably is good advice.

Anyone got the timescale stats for cardiac arrest and either defib or ALS?

Can't see the Ad being a Premiere member but the new CRP guidelines are excellent. It's about keeping the heart pumping O2 around until some form of advance life support can get there.

28 individuals are alive today down to the advert and individuals having a go.

Now how much of that is marketing BS who knows but the campaign has to be good news for a lot of people.

So we poor non-premier members get to learn how to save the lives of rich premier members, but not the other way round?

I can't see it.
Assume it's along the same lines as the TV ad?

I'm not sure that I'd want to give someone chest compressions based soley on having seen the advert. I think I'd be too worried about doing something wrong and making it worse, although I don't suppose it could get much worse for them...

Perhaps I should sign myself up to some sort of course!

I'm told the song 'staying alive' is a little too slow. Apparently you should aim for about 100 beats per minute. It's a really good add for getting message out there though, and playing down of the breaths means more people will be willing to have a go.

So I don't get to know how to save someone's life ?

Sounds a bit selfish ! 😉

Never mind all this helping other people crap. When he says "Dial 999" then looks at the camera and says "I know" is comedy genius!
