....arm cleared up by the end of January

still have a small pea lymph node up in my armpit, saw the doctor this morning who has tried to reassure me it can take up to 3months for it to go down.

She said if it’s still up in a month come back and shed arrange scan etc - I asked what they would look for, cycst, cancers etc.

Feeling a little panicked...I’d rather ask for a scan now...

Anyone else lymph node taken months to come down ???

I'd probably chill a bit, every time I've had anything vaguely dodgy or cancer scare related (twice, nothing to worry about in either case in the end) my feet have hardly had a chance to touch the ground with the NHS. Definitely keep an eye on it but I'd not worry too much.

One of my children experienced this. I think it was more like 6 months before it went down.
