Just been doing a little research on a village in Cataluna that we may be staying in on Summer hols, the local restaurant lists
"Screws Grandmother (with salt and pepper)" as a main meal, it's worth going just to see what that consists of 🙂
Any similar classics to share with the class?

I would have thought Padrina was Godmother, not that that helps

and given that they look like screws and sound like Caracoles (spanish) I reckon you'll be eating snails

Looks like Cargols are snails, sort of makes sense if you think about the shell.Grandmothers snails in salt and pepper, think I might give them a miss.
Slow typing strikes again, doh.
