Tonight she's manning the CiN phones at work, so I'll be getting some solid man cave action, followed by a trip to Cirencester Best Kebab for shish/kofte mix and a couple of beers.

Country lane pootle with her and a mate in the morning, haircut, then general Saturday afternoon going to the tip type stuff. Posh six course tasting menu dinner out in the evening.

Riding on Sunday, but on four legs, not two wheels. It's her birthday pressie of horsey riding with a pub lunch in the middle. Saddle up! 🙂

Bike racin'! Off to Kinlochleven at some ungodly hour tomorrow to make sure that there's not a lack of also-rans in the No Fuss/Dudes of Hazard Enduro. Looks like my weather prediction is bang on- it's not going to rain all the time, because some of the time it will be snowing.

Saturday - road club ride (unless its heaving it down ... as I can't get my mudguards to fit!)

Sunday - mountain biking up exploring the Denbighshire moors with the girls 🙂

In between, eating, wine drinking, film watching and curling up on the sofa with my dog.

I love weekends!!!

Try and actually sleep tonight, possibly with the aid of a bottle of Shiraz.

Tomorrow, I think I might try and patch up my marriage and, if that doesn't work, try again on Sunday.

Art, culture, politics, food, drink, good company, relaxation.

What is this 'cycling' of which you speak?

Think I'm going to head along to the MTBCut party at the Ice Factory for a bit... Then traditional pre-race activity of lying in bed eating biscuits til I feel like I'm going to die.
