Afternoon folks
I have a tap which keeps turning on here. I can turn it off really tightly but it always releases, with the resultant drip or worse. Any idea what the problem would be? Just to clarify - it's not leaky as such, it just keeps turning on.

Dah dah dur dut, dur dut ............etc
New tap washer required.
Turn off water, dismantle tap.
Find the nut you need to undo.
Put adjustable spanner on it.
Turn once, spanner slips, cut knuckle.
Turn again, whole tap turns, puts nasty crack in sink.
Turn again, shear the barrel.
One last go - water everywhere.
Dah dah dur dut, dur dut ............etc
