as I'm in the market for a new bed I looked at some Akva waterbeds today and WOW amazingly comfortable ! I'm thinking of buying a dual mattress version as each can be set to individual comfort via the water pressure and temperature and I won't wake the missus by creating a wave when I get in and out . been quoted 1750 for a superking with frame/heaters /covers etc (installed)...
anyone in the know recommend a better deal at the same quality?
thanks

Check the load bearing capacity of the floor of the room you want to put it in. A friend of a colleague got one, filled it with water and it went through the floor in to her kitchen...

as above, see how much water it holds. Each litre is approx 1kg in weight (1000kg = 1 tonne) so you can work out how many tonnes you are about to put on your 1/2" thick wooden floor boards 😉

Got a nice big telly sat in the room underneath it?
