It looks like it all might be about to kick off in Syria.
And it seems the US, Russia and China have shown their hands. So is this the next Lybia or do you think it will be much worse?
Something needs to be done for sure. What do you think?

Discuss......

I think we should finish off sorting out Iraq, before moving on to sort out Syria's problems.

Maybe Afghanistan too. And Libya is still a bit of a mess apparently.

Too much Russian Influence, bullies only pick on countries where they don't put up a fight.

I think we should finish off sorting out the "Invade Syria" threads we've already started, before moving on to a fresh one.

Maybe the Afganistan and Libyan invasions threads too.

The number of threads being started in favour of taking our military into foreign countries is a clear demonstration of the power of propaganda.

Just a thought

How long before our NATO friends the Turks gets dragged into this conflict? It wont be long before the Kurds in Syria stream across the border into Turkey - which is likely to inflame the Kurdish insurgency.

Absolutely. It is a real crime against humanity and we've wandered into conflicts over less....

Russia & China stand their grounds so what others are going to do eh? Start a nuclear war? Eliminate mankind? Reduce world population? 😈

Read about the massacre in Hama in 1982 and you'll see what they are doing in Homs now, just down the road: Hama Massacre

The Syrian regime is the nastiest of them all and the state security apparatus is so deeply entrenched in society that nobody dares speak. It is deeply sectarian and extremely unstable. At the moment with support from Russia and China and the Arab league having failed to do anything at all, Assad must be feeling pretty optimistic. The fighting will probably rumble on for many months or even years while the world watches helplessly. The alternative is equally frightening; if the regime did collapse the lid would come off the Pandora's Box of Syria and the country would explode into civil war. I have good Christian friends in Damascus and I fear very much for them if that happens.

Sounds like a plan 😆

Actually as there's so much stupidity going on in the world at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if this was some madman's agenda...

I guess those regions have some bad blood with the regime due to being treated as part of a family business or property that can easily dispose off. No surprise there.
