One of our joy cons has developed a problem - the control stick doesn’t ‘click’ when pressed. This is apparently a problem when playing Splatoon 3.
Has anyone got any suggestions? Looks like there’s a rubber skirt under the thumb cap which can be lifted to access the mechanism; I’ve had a go with an air duster and contact cleaner on the assumption there’s some crud stuck under there but no luck.
I think one of my kids reported back about pulling the stick up when something similar happened? I'd say to do it carefully, but I'm sure when said sprogs did it, they weren't too gentle.
I'm presuming it's fixed as the whinging stopped.

Aye. You can get replacements singly but only in the original blue/red, which ours isn’t…
You can get replacements in loads of colours. Only issue is that there seems to be variable stock
