Thought this might interest some on here. It's a bit half arsed in places, but probably worth the 5 minutes it takes to complete if you regularly use the road of death!
[i]As part of the route development work for the A9 dualling project, AECOM, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are looking for thoughts on travelling on the A9 between Perth and Inverness and specifically your use (or not) of lay-bys and rest areas. They have put together a short 10 minute survey which they would be grateful if users of the road could complete. The closing date for the survey is midday on 13th October.

Use a9 every two weeks at the moment and was discussing the lack of services out of hours especially at 5am....
Be interesting to see what effect the speed cameras have on the traffic....
