I would have thought a young go-getter like yourself, Al, would not be tied down by The Man and his scheduling. Just hit up iPlayer/4OD/LoveFilm etc, you Big Hitting Son-Of-A-Gun.

My Mum, on the other hand, wouldn't know 'on-demand' if it punched her in the face, so she is quite happy with the choices offered.

Jamie iplayer etc has yet to hit my tv. I quite like scheduling - I'm too old for this new technology.

F'r'instance I'd watch a David lean epic if it came on telly on a Bank Holiday (they never do) but never get round to watching it on dvd.

The Hotel. Ch. 4.
Watch it once and wonder how they are still in business with such incompetent management.

Will check out Amazon Market Place, thanks.

But I have just discovered that the latest series of Nurse Jackie is now available on DVD. It's brilliant, black comedy that really is shocking sometimes. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

The only thing that has made tonight's tv lstings more unbearable is having been laid up ill for 3 days with little better to do than watch telly and sleep so i have seen half the rubbish already.

Hawaii 5-0 followed by NCIS:LA

Bit of escapism before returning to the office tomorrow

I've avoided the TV tonight mainly because we've had a massive argument.

I enjoy watching Countryfile on a Sunday evening if only because it often focuses on parts of the country worth visiting to ride, eg tonight in Exmoor. Makes me chuckle though when you get parts like tonight when they are travelling across country to a remote valley in what is very obviously a Land Rover yet every external shot is of a completely different vehicle ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ˜‰ That would be better. At least an argument with the TV could easily be resolved. She'd show me something I liked, our love would continue.

Countryfile/Ripper Street/Hawaii Five 0/ NCIS-LA, plus anything else I've recorded I've yet to catch up on. Works for me, anyway.

Netflix/iPlayer/YouTube/Vimeo only here (via AppleTV). Don't think if want to go back to regular telly - you just end up watching shite.
