How about instead of punishments such as bans.....they are made to read every post of the 'Osbourne says No to currency union'thread? 🙁

"cruel and unusual" punishments make human rights lawyers rub their hands and see £ (or future Scottish currency of choice) signs.

As so many of the misdemeanours occur on that thread anyway it would be a bit of a circular process. Mind you it might mean that people do then read it properly and think before posting. Could actually go a long way towards improving it.

@rockape - reading the Osborne thread is easy, most of us just keep posting the same opinions again and again, you can scrim read it easily

Surely being made to ride a road bike past the start of any decent trail they know and love, is a more fitting punishment.

That wouldn't work - half of the weirdo's on here do that for fun already 😐
